  1. Rotate transmission horizontal with pan facing upwards. Loosen the bolts partially, then rotate transmission to allow fluid to drain from pan and transmission case gap.
  2. Rotate transmission horizontal with pan facing upwards. Remove the bolts completely.
  3. Automatic Transmission Fluid Pan Bolt (1) » Remove [16x]
  4. Automatic Transmission Fluid Pan (2) » Remove
  5. Automatic Transmission Fluid Pan Gasket (3) » Remove
  6. The fluid pan gasket is reusable. Inspect the gasket to determine if it may be reused. If the gasket is stuck to the case or pan, it should be replaced.
  7. Automatic Transmission Fluid Filter Bolt (4) » Remove and DISCARD [2x]
