Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose Replacement (LM2)

Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling
  2. Remove the left front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

  1. Front Wheelhouse Liner - Left Side (1) » Remove — Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement

  1. Hose Clamp (1) » Disengage — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  2. Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose (2) @ Engine Oil Cooler » Remove

  1. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose » Remove [2x]
  2. Hose Clamp (2) » Disengage [2x] — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  3. Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooling Heat Exchanger Inlet Hose (3) @ Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose (4) » Remove
  4. Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose (4) @ Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve » Remove

  1. Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose (1) » Remove Installation Procedure

  2. Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose (1) » Install

  3. Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose (4) @ Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve » Install

  4. Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooling Heat Exchanger Inlet Hose (3) @ Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose (4) » Install

  5. Hose Clamp (1) » Engage [2x] — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  6. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose » Install [2x]

  7. Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose (2) @ Engine Oil Cooler » Install

  8. Hose Clamp (1) » Engage — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  9. Front Wheelhouse Liner - Left Side (1) » Install — Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement

  10. Install the left front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

  11. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling

  12. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
