Fuel Cooler Replacement

  1. Drain the charge air cooling system. Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling

  1. Hose Clamp (1) » Disengage [2x] — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  2. Fuel Cooler Coolant Cooler Inlet Hose (2) » Remove and position aside [2x]

  1. Place a drain pan under the fuel lines to catch residual fuel.
  2. Fuel Return Pipe (1) » Disconnect [2x] — Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

  1. Fuel Cooler Support Bracket Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]

  2. Fuel Cooler Bolt (2) » Remove

  3. Fuel Cooler (3) » Remove Installation Procedure

  4. Fuel Cooler (3) » Install

  1. Fuel Cooler Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  2. Fuel Cooler Support Bracket Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

  3. Fuel Return Pipe (1) » Connect [2x] — Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

  4. Remove the drain pan.

  5. Fuel Cooler Coolant Cooler Inlet Hose (2) » Install [2x]

  6. Hose Clamp (1) » Engage [2x] — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  7. Fill the charge air cooling system. Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling
