Removal Procedure

1. Hood Latch Actuator Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
2. Hood Secondary Latch Release Handle (2) » Remove

3. Intake Air Baffle Retainer (1) » Remove [9x]
4. Intake Air Splash Shield (2) » Remove

5. Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]

6. Hood Primary and Secondary Latch (2) » Remove

7. Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable (3)  from the hood primary latch.

8. Disconnect the electrical connector.

9. Release wire harness retainer from under the upper tie bar. Installation Procedure

10. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable (3) » Install

11. Connect the electrical connector.

12. Install the wire harness retainer to the upper tie bar.

13. Hood Primary and Secondary Latch (2) » Install

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

5. Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

6. Intake Air Splash Shield (2) » Install

7. Intake Air Baffle Retainer (1) » Install [9x]

8. Hood Secondary Latch Release Handle (2) » Install

9. Hood Latch Actuator Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications
