Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement - Water Pump Inlet Pipe Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling

  1. Front Wheelhouse Liner - Right Side (3) » Remove — Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement

  1. { With Z45 } Disconnect the front suspension 4-corner leveling system position sensor link (2) from the electronic suspension front position sensor link ball stud (1).
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  3. { With Z45 } Loosen the front suspension 4-corner leveling system position sensor (3).
  4. { With Z45 } Remove the front suspension 4-corner leveling system position sensor (3) from the keyhole slot at the frame.

  1. Radiator Outlet Hose Clamp (1) » Disengage — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  2. Radiator Outlet Hose (2) @ Engine Radiator » Remove

  1. Radiator Outlet Hose Clamp (1) » Disengage — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  2. Radiator Outlet Hose (2) @ Water Pump Inlet Pipe » Remove

  1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
  2. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (1) » Remove Installation Procedure

  1. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  2. Connect the electrical connector.

  3. Radiator Outlet Hose (2) @ Water Pump Inlet Pipe » Install

  4. Radiator Outlet Hose Clamp (1) » Engage — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  5. Radiator Outlet Hose (2) @ Engine Radiator » Install

  6. Radiator Outlet Hose Clamp (1) » Engage — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  7. { With Z45 } Insert the front suspension 4-corner leveling system position sensor (3) into the keyhole slot at the frame.

  1. { With Z45 } Install and tighten the front suspension 4-corner leveling system position sensor (3). Fastener Specifications

  2. Connect the electrical connector.

  3. { With Z45 } Connect the front suspension 4-corner leveling system position sensor link (2) to the electronic suspension front position sensor link ball stud (1).

  4. Front Wheelhouse Liner - Right Side (3) » Install — Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement

  5. Perform the electronic suspension position sensor trim height calibration. Electronic Suspension Position Sensor Trim Height Calibration

  6. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling

  7. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
