Rear Brake Caliper Replacement
Single Use Fasteners and Components Rear Brake Washer [2x] Rear Parking Brake Actuator Lever Seal
- Set the parking brake in Service Mode. Parking Brake Service Mode Selection
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

- { If equipped } Rear Brake Bleeder Valve Cap (1) » Remove
- { If equipped } Rear Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (2) @ Rear Disc Brake Pad » Remove

- Electrical Connector (1) @ Rear Parking Brake Actuator » Disconnect

- Rear Parking Brake Actuator Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]

- Rear Parking Brake Actuator » (2) Remove
- Rear Parking Brake Actuator Lever Seal (1) » Remove and DISCARD

- Rear Brake Hose Fitting (1) » Remove
- Rear Brake Washer (2) » Remove and DISCARD [2x]
- Rear Brake Hose (3) @ Rear Brake Caliper » Remove
- Plug the rear brake hose fitting outlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Cap the rear brake caliper inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

Rear Brake Caliper (1) » Remove Installation Procedure

Rear Brake Caliper (1) » Install
-
Rear Brake Caliper Guide Pin Bolt (2) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications
-
Remove the plug from the brake hose outlet.
-
Remove the plug the rear brake caliper inlet.
-
Rear Brake Washer (2) » Install NEW [2x]
-
Rear Brake Hose (3) @ Rear Brake Caliper » Install
-
Rear Brake Hose Fitting (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
-
Rear Parking Brake Actuator Lever Seal (1) » Install NEW
-
Rear Parking Brake Actuator (2) » Install
-
Rear Parking Brake Actuator Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications
-
Electrical Connector (1) @ Rear Parking Brake Actuator » Connect
-
{ If equipped } Rear Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (2) » Install
-
{ If equipped } Connect the electrical connector. (3)
-
Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
-
Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding
-
Check for brake system leaks.

Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
-
Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
-
Calibrate the park brake. Park Brake Calibration
