Removal Procedure

Horn Replacement — figure 1

1. Hood Latch Actuator Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
2. Hood Secondary Latch Release Handle (2) » Remove

3. Intake Air Baffle Retainer (1) » Remove [9x]
4. Intake Air Splash Shield (2) » Remove

5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
6. Horn Nut (3) @ Right Side Horn » Remove
7. Remove the right side horn (2) from the bracket.
8. Horn Nut (1) » Remove

Note

Removing the right side horn allows enough access to remove horn bracket from vehicle.

9. Horn (2) » Remove Installation Procedure

10. Horn (2) » Install

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

2. Horn Nut (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

3. Install the right side horn (2) to the bracket.

4. Horn Nut (3) @ Right Side Horn » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

5. Connect the electrical connector.

6. Intake Air Splash Shield (2) » Install

7. Intake Air Baffle Retainer (1) » Install [9x]

8. Hood Secondary Latch Release Handle (2) » Install

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

9. Hood Latch Actuator Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications
