Removal Procedure

1. Using the appropriate tool, release the integral retainers.
2. Hood Front Edge Weatherstrip (1) » Remove

3. Using the appropret tool, release the integral retainers.
4. Hood Side Weatherstrip (1) » Remove [2x]

5. Hood Insulator Retainer (1) » Remove [6x]
6. Release the 3 integral tabs at the bottom of the hood insulator.
7. Hood Insulator (2) » Remove

8. Hood Hinge Nut (1) » Remove [4x]

9. With the aid of an assistant, remove the hood (2).

10. Transfer components as necessary. Installation Procedure

11. With the aid of an assistant, install the hood (2).

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

2. Hood Hinge Nut (1) » Install and tighten [4x] — Fastener Specifications
3. Adjust if necessary. Hood Adjustment

Note

Ensure the three lower integral tabs are secure to the hood.

4. Hood Insulator (2) » Install

5. Hood Insulator Retainer (1) » Install [6x]

6. Hood Side Weatherstrip (1) » Install [2x]

7. Hood Front Edge Weatherstrip (1) » Install
