Head-Up Display Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

Warning

Refer to SIR Warning.

Caution

If a vehicle is equipped with a head curtain inflator module ensure that the inflator module and tether are undamaged. If tether or curtain airbag are damaged in any way, they must be replaced.

Caution

Use care when working around the head curtain inflator module. Sharp tools may puncture the curtain airbag. If the head curtain inflator module is damaged in any way, it must be replaced.

1. Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling

2. Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel (1) » Remove — Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Removal and Installation

3. Head-Up Display Bolt (1) » Remove [4x]
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
5. Head-Up Display (2) » Remove

6. Head-Up Display Bracket Bolt (1) » Remove [3x]

7. Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.

8. Head-Up Display Bracket (2) » Remove Installation Procedure

9. Head-Up Display Bracket (2) » Install

10. Connect and position the wiring harness.

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

3. Head-Up Display Bracket Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [3x] — Fastener Specifications

4. Connect the electrical connector.

Note

Ensure that each tab on the head-up display is properly seated in the mating hole for proper alignment.

5. Head-Up Display (2) » Install

6. Head-Up Display Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [4x] — Fastener Specifications

7. Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel (1) » Install — Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Removal and Installation

8. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
