1. Liftgate Weatherstrip (1) » Reposition

2. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
3. Pull both body side rear window garnish moldings (1) outwards enough to access the tether fasteners.

4. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
5. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Tether Retaining Clip (2) » Remove [2x]

6. Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]

7. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

Note

Lower to gain access to rear window washer nozzle hose extension

9. Lower the headlining trim panel (1).
10. Disengage the retaining clips (2) at the rear of the headliner trim panel.
11. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
12. Disconnect the upper panel grommet from the body of the vehicle.

13. Open the liftgate window.
14. Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove the 2 panel locators (1).
15. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Access Hole Cover(2) » Remove

16. Use the appropriate trim tool to release the liftgate upper center trim finish panel (1) from the liftgate inner panel.
17. Liftgate Upper Center Trim Finish Panel (1) » Remove

18. Use a flat-bladed trim tool to aid in the removal of the liftgate upper side trim finish panels (1)  from the liftgate.
19. Liftgate Upper Side Trim Finish Panel (1) » Remove [2x]

20. Use a flat-bladed trim tool to aid in the removal of the rear compartment lid inner panel trim hole plug (1).
21. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) » Remove
22. Disconnect the electrical connector.
23. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel (3) » Remove

24. Disconnect the electrical connectors. ‘
25. Release the retaining tabs.
26. Release the rearview driver information camera rear closure coaxial cable (1) from the liftgate.

Note

Observe the mounting and location of the coaxial cable and coaxial cable grommet to ensure proper reinstallation.

27. Release the rearview driver information camera rear closure coaxial cable grommet (1) from the lift gate closure access hole (3).

28. Feed the rearview driver information camera rear closure coaxial cable (2) through the lift gate closure access hole (3).

30. Feed the rearview driver information camera rear closure coaxial cable (1) through the lift gate closure access hole (2).

31. Rearview Driver Information Camera Rear Closure Coaxial Cable (2) » Install

32. Secure the rearview driver information camera rear closure coaxial cable grommet (1) to the lift gate closure access hole (3).

33. Install the rearview driver information camera rear closure coaxial cable (1) to the liftgate.

34. Secure the retaining tabs.

35. Connect the electrical connectors.

36. Connect the electrical connector.

37. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel (3) » Install

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

9. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

10. Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Hole Plug(1) » Install

11. Liftgate Upper Side Trim Finish Panel (1) » Install [2x]

12. Liftgate Upper Center Trim Finish Panel (1) » Install

13. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Access Hole Cover(2) » Install

14. Liftgate Trim Finish Panel Locator(1) » Install [2x]

15. Close the liftgate window.

16. Connect all electrical connectors.

17. Connect the liftgate upper panel grommet.

18. Engage the retaining clips (2) at the rear underside of the headlining trim panel (1).

19. Headlining Trim Panel (1) » Install

20. Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding (1) » Install [2x]

21. Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

22. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Tether Retaining Clip (2) » Install [2x]

23. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

Note

Position the body side rear window garnish molding tether in the same position as before molding removal.

24. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding (1) » Install [2x]

25. Liftgate Weatherstrip (1) » Install
