Blower Motor Control Module Replacement (C69, with 9C1)

  1. Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling

  1. Using the appropriate tool release the detents to remove the liftgate lock striker cover (1).

  1. Use a flat bladed plastic tool to disengage retaining clips on the rear end trim finish panel (1).
  2. Rear End Trim Finish Panel Opening Cover (1) » Remove

  1. Reposition the liftgate weatherstrip (1).

  1. Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool to disengage the body side rear window garnish molding (1) and retaining clips.
  2. Reposition the body side rear window garnish molding (1).

  1. Remove the body rear corner upper garnish molding bolt (1).

  1. Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool to disengage the body rear corner upper garnish molding (1) and retaining clips.
  2. Remove the body rear corner upper garnish molding (1).

  1. Reposition the rear seat belt retractor sleeve (1).
  2. Remove the rear seat belt anchor plate bolt (2).

  1. Disengage the rear seat belt opening bezel (1).

  1. Remove the quarter window trim finish panel bolt cap (1).
  2. Remove the quarter window trim finish panel bolt (2).

  1. Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool to disengage the body lock pillar upper trim panel (1) and retaining clips.
  2. Feed the rear seat belt opening bezel and rear seat belt through the body lock pillar upper trim panel (1) and remove.

  1. Use a flat bladed plastic tool to disengage retaining clips between the Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) and the Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel.
  2. Pull upward from both sides of the Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding to disengage retaining clips front to rear.
  3. Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) » Remove

  1. Convenience Net Retainer (1) » Remove
  2. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt Cap (2) » open
  3. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt (3) » Remove
  4. Cargo Tie Down Loop Anchor Plate (4) » Remove

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors, and detached the wiring harness from the quarter lower rear trim panel.
  2. Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel (1) » Remove

  1. Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors. (2) [2x]

  1. Blower Motor Control Module (1) » Remove Installation Procedure

  2. Blower Motor Control Module (1) » Install

  1. Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

  2. Connect the electrical connectors. (2) [2x]

  3. Connect the electrical connectors, and attach the wiring harness to the quarter lower rear trim panel.

  4. Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel (1) » Install

  5. Cargo Tie Down Loop Anchor Plate (4) » Install

  6. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt (3) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  7. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt Cap (2) » Close

  8. Convenience Net Retainer (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  1. Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) » Install
  1. Feed the rear seat belt opening bezel and rear seat belt through the body lock pillar upper trim panel.
  2. Engage the body lock pillar upper trim panel (1) and retaining clips.
  1. Install and tighten the quarter window trim finish panel bolt (2). Fastener Specifications
  2. Install the quarter window trim finish panel bolt cap (1).
  1. Engage the rear seat belt opening bezel (1).
  1. Install and tighten the rear seat belt anchor plate bolt (2). Fastener Specifications
  2. Reposition the rear seat belt retractor sleeve (1).
  1. Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding (1) » Install
  2. Engage the body rear corner upper garnish molding (1) and retaining clips.
  1. Install and tighten the body rear corner upper garnish molding bolt (1). Fastener Specifications
  1. Install and engage the body side rear window garnish molding (1) and retaining clips.

  1. Reposition the liftgate weatherstrip (1).

  2. Rear End Trim Finish Panel Opening Cover (1) » Install

  3. Liftgate Lock Striker Cover (1) » Install

  4. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
