Circuit/System Description The B117A Windshield Outside Moisture/Ambient Light and Humidity Sensor is a LIN device that provides the BCM information about the passenger compartment humidity and humidity temperature. A fused B+ circuit and ground is provided by the wiring harness. The sensor sends a LIN serial data message to the BCM. Conditions for Running the DTC System voltage = 9 – 16 V BCM is awake and communicating Conditions for Running the DTC System voltage = 9 – 16 V BCM is awake and communicating Conditions for Setting the DTC The body control module receives an improper status response indicating an internal fault in the sensor.   1. Ignition ON/ Vehicle in Service Mode.
  2. Verify DTC B2AF5–B2AFA is not set. ⇒ If any of the DTCs are set Replace the B117A Windshield Outside Moisture/Ambient Light and Humidity Sensor. ⇓ If none of the DTCs are set
