1. Quarter Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Remove
2. Quarter Trim Panel Cover (2) » Remove
3. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

4. Battery Vent Tube (1) » Remove

5. Disengage the retaining tabs and remove the battery distribution fuse block cover (1).

6. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) » Loosen

7. Disengage the retaining tabs and reposition away the battery distribution fuse block (1).

8. Battery Hold Down Strap Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
9. Battery Auxiliary Tray Hold Down Strap (2) » Remove

11. Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) » Remove

14. Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) » Install

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

3. Battery Hold Down Retainer Bolt (1) Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

4. Battery Auxiliary Tray Hold Down Strap (2) » Install

5. Battery Hold Down Strap Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

6. Engage the retaining tabs and install the battery distribution fuse block (1).

7. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) » Tighten — Fastener Specifications

8. Engage the retaining tabs and install the battery distribution fuse block cover (1).

9. Battery Vent Tube (1) » Install

10. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

11. Quarter Trim Panel Cover (2) » Install

12. Quarter Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
