Feed the rear seat belt opening bezel and rear seat belt through the body lock upper trim panel.

Pull the body side rear window garnish molding (1) outwards enough to access the tether fastener.

Remove the USB “C” port electrical connector and disengage the harness retainer.
Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel (1) » Remove
Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

Disengage the retaining tabs and remove the battery distribution fuse block cover (1).

Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) » Loosen

Disengage the retaining tabs and reposition away the battery distribution fuse block (1).

Battery Hold Down Retainer Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
Battery Auxiliary Tray Hold Down Strap (2) »
Battery Hold Down Strap Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications
Engage the retaining tabs and install the battery distribution fuse block (1).
Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) » Tighten — Fastener Specifications
Engage the retaining tabs and install the battery distribution fuse block cover (1).
Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Connect the electrical connector to USB “C” port and engage the harness retainer.
Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel (1) » Install
Cargo Tie Down Loop (4) » Install
Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt (3) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt Cap (2) » Close
Convenience Net Retainer (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding (1) » Install
Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Tether Retaining Clip (2) » Install
Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
Position the body side rear window garnish molding tether in the same position as before the molding removal.
Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding (1) » Install
Feed the rear seat belt opening bezel and rear seat belt through the body lock upper trim panel.
Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel (1) » Install
Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt Cap (1) » Install
Rear Seat Belt Opening Bezel (1) » Install
Rear Seat Belt Retractor Anchor Plate Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
Rear Seat Belt Retractor Sleeve (1) » Reposition
Rear End Trim Finish Panel (1) » Install
Liftgate Lock Striker Cover (1) » Install
Return the rear seat (1) to the original position.
