  1. Attach and secure DT-48989 Holding Fixture (1) to the Automatic Transmission Case (2).
  2. Support the transmission with a overhead hoist attached to DT-48989 Holding Fixture (1).
  3. Install DT-48989 Holding Fixture (1) with the Automatic Transmission Case (2) into the DT-03289- 20 Holding Fixture Base Assembly (3).
  4. Rotate the transmission so that the converter housing is up and secure with locking pin.
  5. Install DT-46409 Torque Converter Lifting Handles (4) into the Torque Converter (5).
  6. Torque Converter (5) » Remove
