- Ignition » On / Vehicle » In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P0097, P0098, P0112, P0113, P0117, P0118, P1682, P16A7, P16BC, P2610 is not set. ⇒ If any of the DTCs are set Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle ⇓ If none of the DTCs are set
- Verify the scan tool Freeze Frame/Failure Records parameters listed below are within 25°C (45°F) of the following parameter: Start-Up Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Start-Up Intake Air Temperature Sensor Start-Up Intake Air Temperature Sensor 2 ⇒ If not within 25°C (45°F) of each other Replace the component: B75 Mass Airflow Sensor ⇓ If within 25°C (45°F) of each other
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Intake Air Temperature Sensor = The value should not spike or drop out. Intake Air Temperature Sensor 2 = The value should not spike or drop out. Perform the action while monitoring the parameter: Wiggle the harness and connector: B75 Mass Airflow Sensor Wiggle the harness and connector: K20 Engine Control Module ⇒ If the parameter value changes Repair as necessary » Wiring / Terminal(s) / Electrical Connector(s) ⇓ If the parameter value does not change
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data. Verify the DTC does not set. ⇒ If the DTC sets Repeat the procedure starting at step 2 ⇓ If the DTC is not set
- All OK. Repair Instructions Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the repair: Diagnostic Repair Verification Mass Airflow Sensor Replacement — B75 Mass Airflow Sensor
