Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LM2)

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the charge air cooler coolant filler cap.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  1. Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Bolt (1) » Remove [6x]
  2. Front Bumper Fascia Extension Bolt (2) » Remove [4x]
  3. Front Bumper Fascia Extension Bolt (3) @ Underbody Skid Shield » Remove [2x]
  4. Pull the front bumper fascia extension (4) rearward and down.

  1. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
  2. Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp (2) » Disengage — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  3. Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose (1) @ Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump » Remove
  4. Drain the cooling system.

  2. Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @ Engine Auxiliary Radiator » Remove
  3. Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose (2) » Remove Installation Procedure
  1. Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @ Engine Auxiliary Radiator » Install
  2. Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp (1) » Engage — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  1. Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose (1) @ Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump » Install
  2. Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp (2) » Engage — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  3. Remove the drain pan.
  1. Front Bumper Fascia Extension (4) » Install
  1. Front Bumper Fascia Extension Bolt (3) @ Underbody Skid Shield » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications
  2. Front Bumper Fascia Extension Bolt (2) » Install and tighten [4x] — Fastener Specifications
  3. Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [6x] — Fastener Specifications
  4. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  5. Fill the charge air cooling system. Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling
  6. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
