Removal Procedure

1. Front Center Seat (3) » Remove — Front Center Seat Removal and Installation

2. Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
3. Front Seat Center Armrest Hinge Finish Cover - Upper (1) » Remove [2x]

4. Front Seat Center Armrest Pivot Bolt (1) » Remove
5. Front Seat Armrest Adjust Retainer Bolt (2) » Remove
6. Front Seat Armrest Adjust Retainer (3) » Remove

7. Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the front seat center armrest hinge finish cover - lower retaining clips.

Note

Seat belt retaining bushings are for manufacturing purposes only.

8. Remove and DISCARD seat belt retaining bushings.
9. Front Seat Center Belt Buckle » Remove
10. Front Seat Center Belt Anchor Plate » Remove
11. Front Seat Center Armrest Hinge Finish Cover - Lower (1) » Remove [2x]

12. Disconnect the latch release cable.
13. Front Seat Center Armrest Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
14. Front Center Seat Armrest (2) » Remove

15. Front Seat Cushion Center Pad Pivot Bolt (1) » Remove
16. Front Seat Cushion Center Pad (2) » Remove

17. Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
18. Front Seat Center Armrest Hinge Finish Inner Cover (1) » Remove

19. From the underside of the front center seat, depress the six front seat stowage compartment  (1) retaining tabs while lifting the upwards to release the compartment from the seat frame.
20. { If equipped } Electrical Connector » Disconnect
21. Front Seat Stowage Compartment (1) » Remove

22. Pull outward on the side of the front seat cushion center cover (1) to release the retaining clips from the seat frame.

23. Pull the front seat cushion center cover (1) forward to release the remaining retaining clips.

24. Front Seat Cushion Center Cover (1) » Remove Installation Procedure

25. Front Seat Cushion Center Cover (1) » Install

26. Front Seat Stowage Compartment (1) » Install

27. { If equipped } Electrical Connector » Connect

28. Front Seat Center Armrest Hinge Finish Inner Cover (1) » Install

29. Front Seat Cushion Center Pad (2) » Install

30. If a NEW threaded component is being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded component is reused, prepare the threaded component using the following steps: 6.1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the component using a lint free cloth. 6.2. Thread the cleaned component into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive. 6.3. Apply thread locking adhesive to the external threads of the component. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 6.4. Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the component.

7. Front Seat Cushion Center Pad Pivot Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

8. Front Center Seat Armrest (2) » Install

9. Front Seat Center Armrest Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

10. Connect the latch release cable.

11. Front Seat Center Armrest Hinge Finish Cover - Lower (1) » Install [2x]

12. Front Seat Center Belt Anchor Plate » Install

13. Front Seat Center Belt Buckle » Install

14. Front Seat Armrest Adjust Retainer (3) » Install

15. Front Seat Armrest Adjust Retainer Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

16. If a NEW threaded component is being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded component is reused, prepare the threaded component using the following steps: 16.1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the component using a lint free cloth. 16.2. Thread the cleaned component into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive. 16.3. Apply thread locking adhesive to the external threads of the component. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 16.4. Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the component.

17. Front Seat Center Armrest Pivot Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

18. Front Seat Center Armrest Hinge Finish Cover - Upper (1) » Install [2x]

19. Front Center Seat (3) » Install — Front Center Seat Removal and Installation
