Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment

Sunroof Window Adjustment

  1. Place the sunroof sunshade to the fully open position.

  1. Reposition the sunroof opening trim finish lace to access the sunroof window bolts.
  1. Loosen the 6 sunroof window bolts (1), on both right and left side of the sunroof window (2).
  2. Cycle the sunroof window to the open position and closed position.
  3. Ensure the sunroof window is flush to the roof panel.

  1. Adjust to the proper gap of 1.75mm (+/- 0.25mm) between the sunroof window (1) and roof stationary window (2), measuring the adjustments at the middle of the glass as well as each end of the glass.
  1. Sunroof Window Bolt (1) » Tighten [6x] — Fastener Specifications
  2. Repeat steps 3 through 7 if additional adjustment is needed.
  3. Install the sunroof opening trim finish lace.
  4. Water test and inspect sunroof for proper operation.
  5. Place the sunroof sunshade to the fully closed position. Roof Stationary Window Adjustment

  1. Reposition the sunroof opening trim finish lace to access the sunroof window bolts.
  1. Loosen the 6 sunroof window bolts (1), on both right and left side of the roof stationary window (2).
  2. Cycle the sunroof window to the open position and closed position.
  3. Ensure the roof stationary window is flush to the roof panel.

  1. Adjust to the proper gap of 1.75mm (+/- 0.25mm) between the roof stationary window (1) and sunroof window (2), measuring the adjustments at the middle of the glass as well as each end of the glass.

  2. Sunroof Window Bolt (1) » Tighten [6x] — Fastener Specifications

  3. Repeat steps 3 through 7 if additional adjustment is needed.

  4. Install the sunroof opening trim finish lace.

  5. Water test and inspect sunroof for proper operation.

  6. Place the sunroof sunshade to the fully closed position.
