1. Open the liftgate window.
2. Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove the 2 panel locators (1).

4. Use the appropriate trim tool to release the liftgate upper center trim finish panel (1) from the liftgate inner panel.

6. Use a flat-bladed trim tool to aid in the removal of the liftgate upper side trim finish panels (1) from the liftgate.

8. Use a flat-bladed trim tool to aid in the removal of the rear compartment lid inner panel trim hole plug (1).
9. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) » Remove
10. Disconnect the electrical connector.
11. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel (3) » Remove

12. Disconnect the electrical connector.
13. Liftgate Side Sensor » Remove [2x]
14. Rear Closure Center Applique Bolt (1) » Remove [6x]

Note

Observe the mounting and location of the grommet to ensure proper reinstallation.

15. Disconnect all electrical connectors.
16. Disconnect the washer hose, If equipped.
17. Rear Closure Center Applique Nut (1) » Remove [10x]
18. Release the retainers.
19. Rear Closure Center Applique (2) » Remove

20. Disconnect the electrical connector.
21. Rearview Driver Information Camera Bracket Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
22. Rearview Driver Information Camera Bracket (2) » Remove

Note

Observe the mounting and location of the video display inside rearview mirror camera to ensure proper reinstallation.

23. Video Display Inside Rearview Mirror Camera (3) » Remove Installation Procedure

24. Video Display Inside Rearview Mirror Camera (3) » Install

25. Rearview Driver Information Camera Bracket (2) » Install

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

3. Rearview Driver Information Camera Bracket Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

4. Rear Closure Center Applique (2) » Install

5. Rear Closure Center Applique Nut (1) » Install and tighten [10x] — Fastener Specifications

6. Connect the washer hose, If equipped.

7. Connect all electrical connectors.

8. Rear Closure Center Applique Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [6x] — Fastener Specifications

9. Liftgate Side Sensor » Install [2x]

10. Connect the electrical connector.

11. Connect the electrical connector.

12. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel (3) » Install

13. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

14. Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Hole Plug(1) » Install

15. Liftgate Upper Side Trim Finish Panel (1) » Install [2x]

16. Liftgate Upper Center Trim Finish Panel (1) » Install

17. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Access Hole Cover(2) » Install

18. Liftgate Trim Finish Panel Locator(1) » Install [2x]

19. Close the liftgate window.
