Front Side Door Upper Hinge and Lower Hinge Replacement Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

2. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Remove [3x]

3. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Remove [3x]

4. Reposition the rear portion of the front wheelhouse liner (1).

5. Front Fender Insulator Retainer (1) » Remove
6. Pull the front fender insulator (2) down and out from the front fender.

Note

Keep the door in the closed position and replace only one hinge at a time.

7. Mark the location of the upper hinge (3) with a grease pencil before removing the bolts.
8. Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Body Side (1) » Remove [2x]
9. Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Door Side (2) » Remove [2x]
10. Front Side Door Upper Hinge (3) » Remove

11. Mark the location of the lower hinge (3) with a grease pencil before removing the bolts.

12. Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Body Side (1) » Remove [2x]

13. Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Door Side (2) » Remove [2x]

14. Front Side Door Lower Hinge (3) » Remove Installation Procedure

15. Front Side Door Lower Hinge (3) » Install

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

2. Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Door Side (2) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

3. Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Body Side (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

4. Front Side Door Upper Hinge (3) » Install

5. Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Door Side (2) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

6. Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Body Side (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

7. If necessary, adjust the front side door. Front Side Door Adjustment

8. Front Fender Insulator (2) » Install

9. Front Fender Insulator Retainer (1) » Install

10. Front Wheelhouse Liner (1) » Install

11. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [3x] — Fastener Specifications

12. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [3x] — Fastener Specifications

13. Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
