Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Replacement

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  2. Rear Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) » Remove [2x]

  2. Plug the rear brake front pipe nut to avoid fluid loss and contamination.

  2. Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Retainer (2) » Remove [2x]
  3. Plug the rear brake rear pipe inlet to avoid fluid loss and contamination.

  1. Rear Brake Crossover Pipe (1) » Remove Installation Procedure

  2. Rear Brake Crossover Pipe (1) » Install

  3. Remove the plug from the rear brake rear pipe inlet.

  1. Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Nut (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  2. Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Retainer (2) » Install [2x]

  3. Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Retainer (1) » Install

  4. Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Retainer (1) » Install

  5. Rear Brake Crossover Pipe (1) @ Retainer Clip » Install

  6. Remove the plug from the rear brake front pipe outlet.

  7. Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Nut (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  1. Rear Wheelhouse Liner (1) » Install [2x]
  1. Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [14x] — Fastener Specifications
  1. Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [6x] — Fastener Specifications
  1. Rear Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) » Install [2x]
  2. Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [8x] — Fastener Specifications
  3. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  4. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding
  5. Install the rear tire and wheel assemblies. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  6. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  7. Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-full level with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling
