Heater Coolant Pump Replacement (LM2)

Single Use Fasteners and Components Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Seal - Large Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Seal - Small Transmission Fluid Cooler Seal [2x] Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the charge air cooler, air conditioning condenser, engine cooler fan and engine radiator as an assembly. Charge Air Cooler, Condenser, Fan Motor, and Radiator Assembly Removal and Installation

  1. Heater Water Auxiliary Pump Bolt (3) » Remove
  2. Electrical Connector (2) @ Heater Coolant Pump (1) » Disconnect
  3. Reposition the heater coolant pump (1) out of the heater water auxiliary pump bracket to access the heater outlet hose clamps.

  1. Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (1) » Disengage [2x] — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  2. Remove the heater coolant pump (3) from the heater outlet hose (2) and the heater water auxiliary pump hose (4). Installation Procedure

  3. Install the heater coolant pump (3) to the heater outlet hose (2) and the heater water auxiliary pump hose (4).

  4. Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (1) » Engage [2x] — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  5. Install the heater coolant pump (1) to the heater water auxiliary pump bracket.

  6. Electrical Connector (2) @ Heater Coolant Pump (1) » Connect

  1. Heater Water Auxiliary Pump Bolt (3) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
  2. Install the charge air cooler, air conditioning condenser, engine cooler fan and engine radiator as an assembly. Charge Air Cooler, Condenser, Fan Motor, and Radiator Assembly Removal and Installation
