Removal Procedure

1. Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad (1) » Remove — Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Removal and Installation

2. Release the retaining tabs securing the front seat inner recliner finish cover (1) to the front seat cushion frame.
3. Front Seat Inner Recliner Finish Cover (1) » Remove

4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

5. Front Seat Vertical Adjuster Actuator Nut (1) » Remove [3x]

6. Front Seat Adjuster Vertical Actuator Bracket (2) » Remove

7. Front Seat Vertical Adjuster Actuator (3) » Remove Installation Procedure

Front Seat Vertical Adjuster Actuator (3) » Install 2. Front Seat Adjuster Vertical Actuator Bracket (2) » Install 3. Front Seat Vertical Adjuster Actuator Nut » Install and hand tighten [3x]

Note

Ensure complete engagement between the front seat vertical adjuster actuator gear and the front seat vertical adjuster gear.

4. Using an appropriate tool, push the front seat vertical adjuster actuator rearward to fully engage the actuator gear teeth.

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

5. Front Seat Vertical Adjuster Actuator Nut » Tighten in sequence [3x] — Fastener Specifications

6. Connect the electrical connector.

7. Front Seat Inner Recliner Finish Cover (1) » Install

8. Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad (1) » Install — Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Removal and Installation
