Removal Procedure

Caution

Use care when working around the head curtain inflator module. Sharp tools may puncture the curtain airbag. If the head curtain inflator module is damaged in any way, it must be replaced.

1. 3rd Row Seat (2) » Remove — 3rd Row Seat Removal and Installation
2. Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling

3. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
4. Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) » Remove

5. Place the rear seat (1) in the fold and tumble position.

6. Liftgate Weatherstrip (1) » Reposition

7. Liftgate Lock Striker Cover (1) » Remove

8. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

10. Rear Seat Belt Retractor Sleeve (1) » Reposition
11. Rear Seat Belt Anchor Plate Bolt (2) » Remove

14. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

19. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

22. Convenience Net Retainer (1) » Remove
23. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt Cap (2) » Open
24. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt (3) » Remove
25. Cargo Tie Down Loop (4) » Remove

26. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
27. Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel (1) » Reposition
28. Remove the wiring harness retainers, as needed.

29. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

30. Video Processing Module Nut (1) » Remove [2x]

31. Video Processing Module (2) » Remove Installation Procedure

32. Video Processing Module (2) » Install

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

2. Video Processing Module Nut (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

3. Connect the electrical connectors.

4. Install the wiring harness retainers, as needed.

5. Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel (1) » Install

6. Cargo Tie Down Loop (4) » Install

7. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt (3) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

8. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt Cap (2) » Close

9. Convenience Net Retainer (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

10. 3rd Row Seat Belt Retractor Bolt - Lower (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

11. Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding (1) » Install

12. Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

Note

Position the body side rear window garnish molding tether in the same position as before the molding removal.

13. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding (1) » Install

14. Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel (1) » Install

15. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

16. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt Cap (1) » Install

17. Rear Seat Belt Retractor Anchor Plate Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

18. Rear Seat Belt Retractor Sleeve (1) » Reposition

19. Rear End Trim Finish Panel (1) » Install

20. Liftgate Lock Striker Cover (1) » Install

21. Liftgate Weatherstrip (1) » Reposition

22. Return the rear seat (1) to the original position.

23. Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) » Install

24. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling

25. 3rd Row Seat (2) » Install — 3rd Row Seat Removal and Installation

26. Perform the necessary programming and setup procedure: Control Module References
