1. Remove the oil level indicator. (1)

2. Oil Level Indicator Tube Bolt (1) » Remove
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

4. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Oil Level Indicator Tube (2) » Disconnect
5. Engine Wiring Harness (3) » Reposition
6. Lower the vehicle.

7. Oil Level Indicator Tube (1) @ Oil Pan » Remove

8. Oil Level Indicator Tube (1) » Remove

9. Oil Level Indicator Seal (2) » Remove and DISCARD Installation Procedure

10. Oil Level Indicator Seal (2) » Install NEW

11. Lubricate the NEW oil level indicator seal (2) with clean engine oil. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers

12. Oil Level Indicator Tube (1) @ Oil Pan » Install

13. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

14. Engine Wiring Harness (3) » Install

15. Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Oil Level Indicator Tube (2) » Connect

16. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

8. Oil Level Indicator Tube Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

9. Install the oil level indicator. (1)
