Engine Control Module Replacement Removal Procedure
- Before removing the engine control module (ECM), record the oil life percentage remaining.
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

- { If equipped } Front Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) » Remove

- Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Remove [3x]

- Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) » Remove [3x]
- Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) » Remove

- Front Wheelhouse Liner (1) » Reposition

- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors (1) from the engine control module.

Use a suitable tool to pry back the locking tabs (1) securing the engine control module to the control module bracket.

Connect the 2 electrical connectors (1) to the engine control module.
