Rear End Spoiler Retainer Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Ensure the rear window wiper arm (3)  are in the full park position.
2. Raise the rear compartment lift window.

3. Using the appropriate trim tool, remove the rear window wiper arm finish cap (1) from the rear window wiper arm (3).
4. Rear Window Wiper Arm Nut (2) » Remove
5. Grasp the outer end of the rear window wiper arm (3) and gently rock the arm back and forth to remove it from the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft.

6. Use the appropriate trim tool to release the liftgate upper center trim finish panel (1) from the liftgate inner panel.

8. Rear End Spoiler Nut (1) » Remove

9. Use the appropriate trim tool to release the rear end spoiler retainer cover (1)  from the liftgate panel. Installation Procedure

10. Install the rear end spoiler retainer cover (1) .

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

2. Rear End Spoiler Nut (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

3. Liftgate Upper Center Trim Finish Panel (1) » Install

4. Clean the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft splines with a soft wire brush before installing the rear window wiper arm (3).

5. Position the rear window wiper arm (3) on the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft.

6. Rear Window Wiper Arm Nut (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

7. Rear Window Wiper Arm Finish Cap (1) » Install

8. Lower the rear compartment lift window.

9. Cycle the rear window wiper arm (3)  with a spray of solvent, PARK the wiper arm and re- check the alignment of the wiper arm on the park ramp.
