Caution

Use care when working around the head curtain inflator module. Sharp tools may puncture the curtain airbag. If the head curtain inflator module is damaged in any way, it must be replaced.

2. Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling

18. Pull the body side rear window garnish molding (1) outwards enough to access the tether fastener.

3. Connect the electrical connectors.

4. Radio Speaker Amplifier Bracket (2) » Install

5. Radio Speaker Amplifier Bracket Nut (1) » Install and tighten [4x] Fastener Specifications

6. Position the wiring harness.

7. Radio Speaker Amplifier (2) » Install

8. Radio Speaker Amplifier Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [3x] Fastener Specifications

9. Connect the electrical connectors.

10. Install the wiring harness retainers (2).

11. Connect the electrical connectors (1).

Note

Feed the rear seat belt opening bezel and 3rd row seat belt through the quarter lower rear trim panel.

13. Cargo Tie Down Loop (4) » Install

14. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt (3) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

15. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt Cap (2) » Close

16. Convenience Net Retainer (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

17. 3rd Row Seat Belt Retractor Bolt - Upper (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

18. 3rd Row Seat Belt Retractor Anchor Cover (1) » Close

19. Rear Seat Belt Opening Bezel (1) » Install

20. 3rd Row Seat Belt Retractor Bolt - Lower (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

21. Wiring Harness Retainer (2) » Install

22. Electrical Connector (1) » Connect

23. Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding (1) » Install

24. Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

25. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Tether Retaining Clip (2) » Install

26. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

Note

Position the body side rear window garnish molding tether in the same position as before the molding removal.

27. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding (1) » Install

Note

Feed the rear seat belt opening bezel and rear seat belt through the body lock upper trim panel.

28. Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel (1) » Install

29. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

30. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt Cap (1) » Install

31. Rear Seat Belt Opening Bezel (1) » Install

32. Rear Seat Belt Retractor Anchor Plate Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

33. Rear Seat Belt Retractor Sleeve (1) » Reposition

34. Rear End Trim Finish Panel (1) » Install

35. Liftgate Lock Striker Cover (1) » Install

36. Liftgate Weatherstrip (1) » Reposition

37. Return the rear seat (1) to the original position.

38. Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) » Install

39. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling

40. 3rd Row Seat (2) » Install — 3rd Row Seat Removal and Installation

41. Perform the necessary programming and setup procedure: Control Module References
