Conditions for Clearing the DTC Shutdown Mode = Performed Successfully A history DTC will clear after 40 consecutive malfunction-free ignition cycles.   1. Ignition » On / Vehicle » In Service Mode
  2. Verify there are no other DTCs set, except for DTC C2A3B. ⇒ If the DTC is not set All OK. ⇓ If the DTC is set
  3. Test drive the vehicle. = Greater than 20 km/h (13 MPH) — For 1 km (.7 mi)
  4. Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems » Off = Greater than 2 min
  5. Ignition » On / Vehicle » In Service Mode
  6. Clear DTCs
  7. Verify DTC C2A3B is not set. ⇒ If the DTC is set 7.1. Test or inspect for the following: Brake Pedal = Binding or Sticking Refer to: Brake System Slow Release 7.2. Perform the scan tool control function: Brake Hydraulics Test 7.3. Test drive the vehicle. = Greater than 20 km/h (13 MPH) — For 1 km (.7 mi) 7.4. Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems » Off = Greater than 2 min 7.5. Clear DTCs 7.6. Verify DTC C2A3B is not set. ⇒ If the DTC is set Test or replace the component: A104 Brake Master Cylinder ⇓ If the DTC is not set All OK ⇓ If the DTC is not set
  8. All OK.
