Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LM2)

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

2. Fuel Heater Inlet and Outlet Nut (1) @ Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket » Remove
3. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling
4. Front Wheelhouse Liner - Right Side » Remove — Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement

5. Disconnect the front suspension 4 corner leveling system position sensor link (2) from the electronic suspension front position sensor link ball stud (1), if equipped.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector (3), if equipped.

Note

The front suspension 4 corner leveling system position sensor nut and stud are part of the sensor.

7. Loosen the front suspension 4 corner leveling system position sensor nut (4), if equipped.

8. Remove the front suspension 4 corner leveling system position sensor (1) from the keyhole slot at the frame, if equipped.

9. Fuel Heater Inlet and Outlet Nut (1) » Loosen
10. Fuel Heater Inlet and Outlet Bolt (2) » Remove
11. Fuel Cooler Coolant Cooler Inlet Hose » Reposition

12. Battery Negative Cable Ground Bolt (1) » Remove
13. Power Steering Wiring Harness (2) » Reposition

14. Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (2) » Disengage — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
15. Heater Outlet Hose (1) @ Heater Coolant Pump » Remove

18. Heater Outlet Hose Retainer (2) » Disengage

19. Heater Outlet Hose (1) @ Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose » Remove Installation Procedure

20. Heater Outlet Hose (1) @ Auxiliary Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose » Install

21. Heater Outlet Hose Retainer (2) » Engage

22. Heater Outlet Hose Clip (1) @ Heater Outlet Hose Bracket » Install

23. Heater Outlet Hose Clip (1) » Install

24. Heater Outlet Hose (1) @ Heater Coolant Pump » Install

25. Heater Outlet Hose Clamp (2) » Engage — Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

26. Power Steering Wiring Harness (2) » Move into position

Caution

Refer to Fastener Caution.

8. Battery Negative Cable Ground Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Ground Repair

9. Fuel Cooler Coolant Cooler Inlet Hose » Move into position

10. Fuel Heater Inlet and Outlet Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

11. Fuel Heater Inlet and Outlet Nut (1) » Tighten — Fastener Specifications

12. Insert the front suspension 4 corner leveling system position sensor (1) into the keyhole slot at the frame, if equipped.

13. Tighten the front suspension 4 corner leveling system position sensor nut (4), if equipped. Fastener Specifications

14. Connect the electrical connector (3), if equipped.

15. Connect the front suspension 4 corner leveling system position sensor link (2) to the electronic suspension front position sensor link ball stud (1), if equipped.

16. Front Wheelhouse Liner - Right Side » Install — Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement

17. Fuel Heater Inlet and Outlet Nut (1) @ Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

18. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

19. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling

20. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.

21. Clear All Vehicle DTCs

22. Perform the electronic suspension position sensor trim height calibration. Automatic Level Control Trim Height Learn
