  1. Hood Latch Actuator Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
  2. Hood Secondary Latch Release Handle (2) » Remove

  1. Intake Air Baffle Retainer (1) » Remove [9x]
  2. Intake Air Splash Shield (2) » Remove

  1. Disconnect the cable end retainer (1) from the latch.
  2. Release the hood primary latch release cable from the retainer (2).

  1. Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable (1) from the retainers (2).

  1. Release the hood primary latch release cable handle retainers (1)  from the instrument panel lower trim panel outer filler.

  1. Separate the hood primary latch release cable end retainer (1) from the inside handle (2).

  1. Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable grommet (1) from the plenum upper panel.

  2. Attach mechanics wire to the hood primary latch release cable (2) and pull the cable out. Installation Procedure

  3. Attach the mechanics wire to the new hood primary latch release cable (2) and guide the cable in.

  4. Connect the hood primary latch release cable grommet (1) to the plenum upper panel.

  5. Install the hood primary latch release cable end retainer (1) to the inside handle (2).

  6. Install the hood primary latch release cable handle retainers (1)  to the instrument panel lower trim panel outer filler.

  7. Attach the hood primary latch release cable (1) to the retainers (2).

  8. Attach the hood primary latch release cable to the retainer (2).

  9. Connect the hood primary latch release cable end retainer (1) to the latch.

  10. Intake Air Splash Shield (2) » Install

  11. Intake Air Baffle Retainer (1) » Install [9x]

  12. Hood Secondary Latch Release Handle (2) » Install

  1. Hood Latch Actuator Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications
