1. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

11. Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Remove [6x]
12. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
13. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Note

Use care not to bend or deform the thin area of the instrument panel trim pad.

34. Rotate the front floor courtesy lamp (1) a quarter turn counterclockwise to release.

36. Disconnect the electrical connector.

You may have to push down on the lower steering column closeout to clear the instrument panel cluster trim plate.

37. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (1) » Remove

Note

Use a plastic trim tool if necessary.

2. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

3. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (1) » Install

4. Connect the electrical connector.

5. Front Floor Courtesy Lamp (1) » Install

6. Rotate the front floor courtesy lamp (1) a quarter turn clockwise to secure.

7. Secure the retaining tab.

8. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (1) » Install

9. Instrument Panel Lower Insulator Retainer (1) » Install [2x]

10. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

11. Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (1) » Install

12. Connect the electrical connectors.

13. Instrument Panel Switch Trim Plate (2) » Install

14. Instrument Panel Switch Trim Plate Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

15. Connect the electrical connectors.

16. Instrument Panel Trim Pad (2) » Install

17. Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

18. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique (1) » Install

19. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) » Install

20. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Outer Filler (1) » Install

21. Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Plate Applique (2) » Install

22. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

23. Connect the electrical connector.

24. Instrument Panel Trim Pad (2) » Install

25. Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [6x] — Fastener Specifications

26. Instrument Panel Center Trim Plate Applique (1) » Install

27. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique (1) » Install

28. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) » Install

29. Front Floor Console Applique (1) » Install
