Control Circuit — Terminal A @ A16 Transfer Case Four Wheel Drive Actuator The output circuit is switched from ground to 12 V to activate the component.
Control Circuit — Terminal D @ A16 Transfer Case Four Wheel Drive Actuator The output circuit is switched from ground to 12 V to activate the component.

K69 Transfer Case Control Module The control module contains a microprocessor used to process input data to control outputs.

Conditions for Running the DTC Ignition = On System Voltage = 9 to 17.5 V Frequency the DTC runs = Continuously — After the running conditions are met Conditions for Setting the DTC C115E 12 Control Circuit = Short to Voltage C115E 11 Voltage = 0 to 0.107 V C115E 13 Condition 1 Voltage = 0.85 to 1.057 V Condition 2 Voltage = 0 to 0.107 V C119E 64 Not plausible conditions, greater than 5 degrees C119E 98 Control module K69 detects: High Temperature Actuator temperature stress has exceeded the maximum stress.   1. Ignition » On / Vehicle » In Service Mode
  2. Verify DTC C115E, C1170 is not set. ⇒ If the DTC is set Refer to: Circuit/System Testing ⇓ If the DTC is not set
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data. Verify the DTC does not set. ⇒ If the DTC sets Refer to: Circuit/System Testing ⇓ If the DTC is not set
  4. All OK. Circuit/System Testing
  5. Ignition/Vehicle » Off
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector: A16 Transfer Case Four Wheel Drive Actuator
  7. Connect a test lamp between the test points: Control circuit terminal A & Control circuit terminal D
  8. Start the vehicle and place the transmission in Neutral.
  9. Perform the scan tool control function: Range Actuator Verify the test lamp state: Range Actuator » Idle = Test lamp Off Range Actuator » Clockwise = Test lamp On Range Actuator » Counterclockwise = Test lamp On ⇒ If not the specified state 5.1.
