  1. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Bracket Bolt (1) » Remove
  2. Remove engine wiring harness from air cleaner outlet duct bracket.

  1. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Fresh Air Tube (1) » Disconnect — Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  2. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (2) » Loosen [2x]
  3. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (3) » Remove
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  5. Fully open the throttle valve in order to Inspect the throttle body bore and the throttle valve plate for any deposits.
  1. Use a clean shop towel and an approved GM engine cleaner. Clean the throttle body bore and the throttle valve plate. If necessary, use a parts cleaning brush in order to remove heavy deposits.

  2. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (3) » Install

  1. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (2) » Tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

  2. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Fresh Air Tube (1) » Connect — Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

  3. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Bracket Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

  4. Connect the electrical connector.

  5. Install engine wiring harness to air cleaner outlet duct bracket.

  6. Perform the following procedure/test: Diagnostic Repair Verification

  7. Perform the throttle idle learn procedure. Throttle Body Idle Air Flow Compensation Reset
