Rear Brake Bleeder Valve Replacement

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

  1. Rear Brake Bleeder Valve Cap (1) » Remove
  2. { If equipped } Disconnect the electrical connector. (4)
  3. { If equipped } Rear Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (2) » Remove
  4. Rear Brake Bleeder Valve (3) » Remove Installation Procedure
  1. Rear Brake Bleeder Valve (3) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications
  2. { If equipped } Rear Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor (2) » Install
  3. { If equipped } Connect the electrical connector. (4)
  4. Rear Brake Bleeder Valve Cap (1) » Install
  5. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  6. Check for brake system leaks.
  7. Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  8. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
