Note

The Particulate Filter Regeneration Enable is required when specific service procedures have been performed. Do not perform a Particulate Filter Regeneration Enable unless instructed to in the Repair Instruction section of the service procedure. After the system is repaired, perform the following to avoid possible damage to the Particulate Filter. The engine control module (ECM) activates the Particulate Filter Regeneration when the engine running conditions are met.
