Hydraulic Circuit Installation Verification

The Hydraulic Circuit Installation Verification is required after replacing the A104 Brake Master Cylinder or more than one brake pipe has been disconnected from A104 Brake Master Cylinder: The Hydraulic Circuit Installation Verification can be completed with a scan tool using the following steps:

  1. Place the vehicle on a hoist.
  2. Install the scan tool to the data link connector.
  3. Ignition ON/Vehicle in Service Mode
  4. Select Hydraulic Circuit Installation Verification in the K160 Brake System Control Module/Controls Functions list.
  5. Perform the Left Front, Right Front, Left Rear, and Right Rear Corner tests and follow the scan tool directions to complete the tests.
  6. If any of the corner tests did not pass, cross piping at the A104 Brake Master Cylinder may have occurred.
  7. Clear any DTCs that may be set.
