Circuit/System Description

  1. Vehicle OFF, close and lock the doors using the keyless entry transmitter.
  2. Attempt to clear the DTC.
  3. Arm the theft system and wait 5 min.
  4. Disarm the system. ⇒ If the DTC did not clear or if it transitions to a history DTC Perform Circuit/System Testing. ⇓ If the DTC clears
  5. All OK. Circuit/System Testing
  6. Verify there is no physical damage, obstruction, or improperly installed components.
  7. Attempt to clear the DTC. ⇒ If there is damage, obstruction, or improperly installed components Correct the condition. ⇓ If there is no damage, obstruction, or improperly installed components
  8. Replace the B165 Content Theft Deterrent Sensor Module.
  9. Fully arm then disarm the content theft deterrent system and verify no DTCs are set.
