6. Disconnect the electrical connector.
7. Disconnect both 3rd row seat back actuator cable ends from the seat back latch.
8. Using a suitable trim tool, release the cable retainers (1) from the seat back frame.

11. Disconnect the 3rd row seat back latch cable end from the seat back latch.
12. Using a suitable trim tool, release the cable retainers (1) from the seat back frame.

14. Using a suitable trim tool, release the retainers.
15. Rear Seat Back Cover Retainer (1) » Remove [7x]

17. Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.

19. 3rd Row Seat Back Frame (2) » Remove Installation Procedure

21. If NEW threaded components are being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded components are reused, prepare the threaded components using the following steps: 2.1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the components using a lint free cloth. 2.2. Thread the cleaned components into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive. 2.3. Apply thread locking adhesive to the external threads of the components. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 2.4. Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the component.

Refer to Fastener Caution.

Note

Bolt holes are oversized to allow for seat back frame adjustment. Align the seat back frame with the opposite side seat back before tightening the seat back frame bolts.

3. 3rd Row Seat Back Frame Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [4x] — Fastener Specifications

4. Connect and position the wiring harness.

5. 3rd Row Seat Back Panel (2) » Install

6. Rear Seat Back Cover Retainer (1) » Install [7x]

7. 3rd Row Seat Back Latch Cable (2) » Install

8. Install the cable retainers (1) to the seat back frame.

9. Connect the 3rd row seat back latch cable end to the seat back latch.

10. Folding 3rd Row Seat Back Actuator (3) » Install

11. Folding 3rd Row Seat Back Actuator Bolt (2) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

12. Install the cable retainers (1) to the seat back frame.

13. Connect both 3rd row seat back actuator cable ends to the seat back latch.

14. Connect the electrical connector.
