1. USB Receptacle Malfunction

Circuit/System Description The vehicle is fitted with USB charge port receptacles which are used only for charging mobile devices. The USB receptacles are controlled by an ignition operated relay and are operational when the ignition is turned to either the On or the Accessories positions. 1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the connector at the appropriate X92 USB Receptacle. It may take up to 2 min for all vehicle systems to power down.
2. Test for less than 10 Ω between the appropriate terminal and ground: X92BCL USB Receptacle — 3rd Row Seat Left = Terminal 2 X92BCR USB Receptacle — 3rd Row Seat Right = Terminal 2 X92C USB Receptacle — Center Console Rear = Terminal 4 ⇒ If greater than 10 Ω Repair the open/high resistance on appropriate circuit or ground connection. ⇓ If less than 10 Ω
3. Ignition ON.
4. Verify that a test lamp illuminates between the appropriate terminal and ground: X92BCL USB Receptacle — 3rd Row Seat Left = Terminal 1 X92BCR USB Receptacle — 3rd Row Seat Right = Terminal 1 X92C USB Receptacle — Center Console Rear = Terminal 6 ⇒ If the test lamp does not illuminate and the circuit fuse is good 4.1. Test circuit 4701 for an open/high resistance. ⇒ If an open/high resistance is found, repair the fault on the circuit. ⇒ If an open/high resistance is not found, verify the fuse is not open and there is voltage at the fuse. Refer to Retained Accessory Power Malfunction. ⇒ If the test lamp does not illuminate and the circuit fuse is open 4.1. Test circuit 4701 for a short to ground. ⇒ If a short to ground is found, repair the fault on the circuit. ⇓ If a short to ground is not found. 4.2. Replace the appropriate X92 USB Receptacle. ⇓ If the test lamp illuminates
