Caution

Use care when working around the head curtain inflator module. Sharp tools may puncture the curtain airbag. If the head curtain inflator module is damaged in any way, it must be replaced. Removal Procedure

2. Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling

3. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
4. Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) » Remove

5. Place the rear seat (1) in the fold and tumble position.

6. Liftgate Weatherstrip (1) » Reposition

8. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

15. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

Feed the rear seat belt opening bezel and rear seat belt through the body lock upper trim panel.

17. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
18. Pull the body side rear window garnish molding (1) outwards enough to access the tether fastener.

35. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
36. If equipped, disconnect the electrical connectors and wiring harness retainers.

Note

Feed the rear seat belt opening bezel and 3rd row seat belt through the quarter lower rear trim panel.

2. 3rd Row Seat Belt Retractor Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

3. If equipped, connect the electrical connectors and wiring harness retainers.

Note

Feed the rear seat belt opening bezel and 3rd row seat belt through the quarter lower rear trim panel.

4. Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel (1) » Install

5. Cargo Tie Down Loop (4) » Install

6. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt (3) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

7. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt Cap (2) » Close

8. Convenience Net Retainer (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

9. 3rd Row Seat Belt Guide Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

10. 3rd Row Seat Belt Retractor Anchor Cover (1) » Close

11. Rear Seat Belt Opening Bezel (1) » Install

12. 3rd Row Seat Belt Anchor Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

13. Wiring Harness Retainer (2) » Install

14. Electrical Connector (1) » Connect

15. Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding (1) » Install

16. Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

17. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Tether Retaining Clip (2) » Install

18. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

Note

Position the body side rear window garnish molding tether in the same position as before the molding removal.

19. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding (1) » Install

Note

Feed the rear seat belt opening bezel and rear seat belt through the body lock upper trim panel.

20. Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel (1) » Install

21. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

22. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt Cap (1) » Install

23. Rear Seat Belt Opening Bezel (1) » Install

24. Rear Seat Belt Retractor Anchor Plate Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

25. Rear Seat Belt Retractor Sleeve (1) » Reposition

26. Rear End Trim Finish Panel (1) » Install

27. Liftgate Lock Striker Cover (1) » Install

28. Liftgate Weatherstrip (1) » Reposition

29. Return the rear seat (1) to the original position.

30. Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) » Install

31. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling

32. 3rd Row Seat (2) » Install — 3rd Row Seat Removal and Installation
