Front Seat Stowage Compartment Replacement (Seat Compartment) Removal Procedure

- Front Center Seat (3) » Remove — Front Center Seat Removal and Installation

- Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
- Front Seat Center Armrest Hinge Finish Cover - Upper (1) » Remove [2x]

- Front Seat Center Armrest Pivot Bolt (1) » Remove
- Front Seat Armrest Adjust Retainer Bolt (2) » Remove
- Front Seat Armrest Adjust Retainer (3) » Remove

- Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the front seat center armrest hinge finish cover - lower retaining clips.
- Remove and DISCARD seat belt retaining bushings.
- Front Seat Center Belt Buckle » Remove
- Front Seat Center Belt Anchor Plate » Remove
- Front Seat Center Armrest Hinge Finish Cover - Lower (1) » Remove [2x]

- Disconnect the latch release cable.
- Front Seat Center Armrest Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
- Front Center Seat Armrest (2) » Remove

Front Seat Cushion Center Pad Pivot Bolt (1) » Remove

Front Seat Cushion Center Pad (2) » Remove Object Id: 5581809
-
Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

Front Seat Center Armrest Hinge Finish Inner Cover (1) » Remove Object Id: 5581797
-
From the underside of the front center seat, depress the six front seat stowage compartment (1) retaining tabs while lifting the upwards to release the compartment from the seat frame.

Front Seat Cushion Center Pad (2) » Install

If a NEW threaded component is being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded component is reused, prepare the threaded component using the following steps: 6.1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the component using a lint free cloth. 6.2. Thread the cleaned component into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive. 6.3. Apply thread locking adhesive to the external threads of the component. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 6.4. Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the component.

Front Seat Center Armrest Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

Connect the latch release cable.

Front Seat Center Belt Anchor Plate » Install

Front Seat Center Belt Buckle » Install

Front Seat Armrest Adjust Retainer (3) » Install

Front Seat Armrest Adjust Retainer Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

If a NEW threaded component is being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded component is reused, prepare the threaded component using the following steps: 16.1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the component using a lint free cloth. 16.2. Thread the cleaned component into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive. 16.3. Apply thread locking adhesive to the external threads of the component. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 16.4. Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the component.
