1. Using a trim type release tool and starting at the top forward edge gently lift and release the retainers.
2. Replace the retainers as necessary.

Warning

4. Drill out the upper rear side door opening reveal molding retainer. (2). Remove and DISCARD
5. Using the appropriate tool, release the upper reveal molding starting at the rear of the rear door.
6. Upper Rear Side Door Opening Reveal Molding(1) » Remove

Warning

Refer to Cracked Window Warning.

7. Apply a double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces.

Warning

Note

Keep the cutting edge of the tool against the window.

8. Use BO-24402-A Glass Sealant Remover  (1) to remove the window (2). Leave a base of urethane approximately 2 mm (0.078 in) on the pinch-weld flange. The only suitable lubrication is clear water.

10. Body Side Rear Window (1) » Install — Adhesive Installation of Bodyside Stationary Windows

11. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces.

12. Upper Rear Side Door Opening Reveal Molding (1) » Install

13. Upper Rear Side Door Opening Reveal Molding Retainer (2) » Install NEW

14. Body Side Rear Molding (1) » Install
