Accessory AC and DC Power Control Module Replacement (with 9C1) Removal Procedure

Caution

Use care when working around the head curtain inflator module. Sharp tools may puncture the curtain airbag. If the head curtain inflator module is damaged in any way, it must be replaced.

1. Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling
2. Place the rear seat in the fold and tumble position.

3. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

5. Liftgate Weatherstrip (1) » Reposition

6. Liftgate Lock Striker Cover (1) » Remove

7. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

9. Rear Seat Belt Retractor Sleeve (1) » Reposition
10. Rear Seat Belt Anchor Plate Bolt (2) » Remove

14. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

Note

Feed the rear seat belt opening bezel and rear seat belt through the body lock upper trim panel.

16. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
17. Pull the body side rear window garnish molding (1) outwards enough to access the tether fastener.

23. Convenience Net Retainer (1) » Remove
24. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt Cap (2) » Open

27. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

29. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1).
30. Remove the wiring harness retainers (2).

31. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

2. Accessory AC and DC Power Control Module Nut (1) » Install and tighten [3x] — Fastener Specifications

3. Connect the electrical connectors.

4. Install the wiring harness retainers (2).

5. Connect the electrical connectors (1).

6. Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel (1) » Install

7. Cargo Tie Down Loop (4) » Install

8. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt (3) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

9. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt Cap (2) » Close

10. Convenience Net Retainer (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

11. Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding (1) » Install

12. Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

13. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Tether Retaining Clip (2) » Install

14. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Bolt (1) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

Note

Position the body side rear window garnish molding tether in the same position as before the molding removal.

15. Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding (1) » Install

Note

Feed the rear seat belt opening bezel and rear seat belt through the body lock upper trim panel.

16. Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel (1) » Install

17. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

18. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt Cap (1) » Install

19. Rear Seat Belt Opening Bezel (1) » Install

20. Rear Seat Belt Retractor Anchor Plate Bolt (2) » Install and tighten — Fastener Specifications

21. Rear Seat Belt Retractor Sleeve (1) » Reposition

22. Rear End Trim Finish Panel (1) » Install

23. Liftgate Lock Striker Cover (1) » Install

26. Return the rear seat to the original position.
