1. Front vision camera image distorted or blue screen

Circuit/System Description The A11 Radio is connected to the B174W Front View Camera - Windshield via a shielded coaxial cable. The coaxial cable provides power for the camera and also carries the video image from the camera to the A11 Radio for processing. Conditions for Running the DTC Ignition » On / Vehicle » In Service Mode Conditions for Setting the DTC DTC B1B9D 02, 11, 13 The A11 Radio has detected a camera signal failure DTC B1B9D 26 The A11 Radio has detected the camera signal rate of change is below a predetermined threshold DTC B1B9D 2F The A11 Radio has detected an erratic camera signal DTC B1B9D 4B The A11 Radio has detected the camera is over temperature Actions Taken When the DTC Sets Service Camera message = On Conditions for Clearing the DTC The conditions for setting the DTC no longer exist. Diagnostic Aids The following conditions could cause component performance issues: B174W Front View Camera - Windshield Ambient Light Intensity — High /Low Camera Blocked — Debris /Ice /Mud /Snow Temperature — High /Low An open in the shield of the video signal circuit can cause a distorted screen. If the condition is intermittent or cannot be duplicated, disconnect the connectors and add dielectric grease or lubricant (Nyogel 760G or equivalent, meeting GM specification 9986087). This procedure may correct the high resistance condition due to terminal fretting corrosion.
