Rear Body Structure Stop Lamp Replacement

Removal Procedure

  1. Open the rear compartment lid.

  1. Using the appropriate tool, release the tabs on the back body opening side center gutter.

  1. Release the back body opening side lower gutter retainers and remove the back body opening side lower gutter (1).

  1. Rear Bumper Fascia (1) » Remove — Rear Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation

  1. Rear Body Structure Stop Lamp Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  3. Release the retaining tab.

  1. Rear Body Structure Stop Lamp Bolt (1) » Remove [2x]
  2. Rear Body Structure Stop Lamp (2) » Remove Installation Procedure

  1. Ensure the rear body structure lamp (1) is properly aligned with the tail lamp retainers (2).

  2. Rear Body Structure Stop Lamp (2) » Install

  1. Rear Body Structure Stop Lamp Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

  2. Secure the retaining tab.

  3. Connect the electrical connector.

  4. Rear Body Structure Stop Lamp Bolt (1) » Install and tighten [2x] — Fastener Specifications

  5. Rear Bumper Fascia (1) » Install — Rear Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation

  1. Back Body Opening Side Lower Gutter (1) » Install
  1. Back Body Opening Side Center Gutter » Install
  2. Close the rear compartment lid.
