- Ignition » On / Vehicle » In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P16D7, P16D8, P16D9, U010E, U021A, U023A, U029D, U029E, U02A9 is not set. ⇒ If any of the DTCs are set Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle. ⇓ If none of the DTCs are set
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data. Verify the DTC does not set. ⇒ If the DTC sets Refer to: Circuit/System Testing ⇓ If the DTC is not set
- All OK. Circuit/System Testing
- Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems » Off
- Disconnect the electrical connector: K115 Reductant Control Module
- Test for less than 1 V between the test points: Ignition circuit terminal 30 & Ground ⇒ If 1 V or greater 3.1. Remove the component: F47UA Fuse @ X50A Fuse Block - Underhood 3.2. Test for less than 1 V between the test points: F47UA Fuse — Input terminal & Ground ⇒ If 1 V or greater » Replace the component: KR75 Engine Controls Ignition Relay ⇓ If less than 1 V 3.3. Test for less than 1 V between the test points: Ignition circuit terminal 30 @ Control module harness & Ground ⇒ If 1 V or greater » Repair the short to voltage on the circuit. ⇓ If less than 1 V

- Test for greater than 9 V between the test points: Ignition circuit terminal 30 & Ground ⇒ If 9 V or less 5.1. Ignition/Vehicle & All vehicle systems » Off 5.2. Test for infinite resistance between the test points: Ignition circuit terminal 30 & Ground ⇒ If less than infinite resistance » Repair the short to ground on the circuit. ⇓ If infinite resistance 5.3. Test for less than 2 Ω between the test points: Ignition circuit terminal 30 @ Component harness & F47UA Fuse @ X50A Fuse Block - Underhood ⇒ If 2 Ω or greater » Repair the open/high resistance in the circuit. ⇒ If less than 2 Ω » Replace the component: KR75 Engine Controls Ignition Relay ⇓ If greater than 9 V
